A wild strawberry story

Have you ever eaten wild strawberries?

In the mountains around my native town there are a lot of them. So yesterday me and my mum went up on the hills to pick strawberries. And it's very very hard picking them because they're hidden in the grass, around bushes, the ground's wet, many lizards, insects, bugs.... BUT, the taste of fresh wild strawberries is so delicious.

and the result is super yummy jam! Bon apetit!

This is my second Ruby Tuesday post.

That is fun going for a wild strawberry picking. And I agree the wild fruits are more sweeter. Enjoy the summer!

Wild strawberries are hard to pick but they are so flavourful that it's worth the effort. You are making me hungry for some right now. :)

Your strawberries looks delicious! The homemade jam is YUMMY too. This year was the first year we picked strawberries off of our backyard plants.

I haven't eaten wild strawberries since I was a child as they are almost impossible to find now. I do love them. They are much better flavoured than store bought. But I do buy a lot of store bought now.

The fruits are quite large for wild berries, and the jam looks so yummy, worth all the effort to find them.
