My world - on Saturdays

Every Saturday me and my classmates usually visit some nice places around Tianjin. A few weeks ago when I saw these SSS (frankly no idea what it is) I knew I was going to post them later.

Me- smiling.

Not one but three.
Super!

Standing mum smiles to her sweet child.

He is single. and sad. Where is She?

Steps into special moments.
Me and a shy girl.

So sweet.

"tea soup"
I liked it a lot.
Super!!!

Self-centered.

I was surprised to see it was so silent. I guess they don't want to scare the fish.

Many lovely shadows at night.

The last was the sumptuous dinner.

C is for colorful Chinese culture

Well, China. I lived in Tianjin, China for a year. I studied at Nankai University as a general scholar.

So, here are some of the pictures from my travels.

Let's start with the food. A local market.

Some of the street food which was not very good-looking, but tasty!

Boiled vegetables in a sauce. Very very delicious. Cabbage, Chinese mushrooms, peppers, meat (or vegetable) balls.

Caramelized fruit on a stick (haw?). We don't have such in Macedonia, so I never knew what it really was. Too sweet for me!

A souvenir shop. Tianjin is famous for its clay figurines.

Great wall, Beijing. Stairs, stairs, stairs. And a breathtaking view over! I climbed up that tower.

Chinese New Year decorations.
A play on words:
In Chinese, saying Fu dao le means "luck or fortune has arrived". But the word "dao" can also imply to fall down or turn upside-down. So, literally turning the character 福, fu, upside-down is a play on words implying fortune has arrived. Interesting, huh?

A gray winter afternoon on the Tiananmen square, Beijing.

A western-style bridge in Tianjin.

Shaolin Temple. And me doing a bad kung-fu. Lol..:)

Xi'an , terracotta warriors.

A temple in Inner Mongolia, China.

Drinking baijiu, Chinese traditional alcoholic drink, literally white liquor. Extremely strong. Didn't like it, frankly.

A Mongolian traditionally dressed singer in yurts, a Mongolian tents. This is Inner Mongolia, the autonomous region in China.

Have a COLORful day!
